Mary Ann Bothell Guild Auction a Success!

After much planning and sweat of our collective brow, we cranked out another successful auction. The items were awesome and I even won something! Joe was an awesome auctioneer as usual and coaxed $33,000 out of attendees wallets! Wow! All that money goes to support the uncompensated care fund at Children's Hospital. Thank you to everyone it was a fun event. Now early to bed....we are pooped out:)

Another Mind Camp under the belt....

We spent last weekend at Mind Camp (seattlemind.com) This was my husband's 3rd and my second Mind Camp. As expected a great time was had by all. I decided after a little prodding from Andru and Bryn to do a session on making balloon animals. Not expecting many to show, I was totally surprised. At some point during my presentation I had 12 people there. I couldn't believe it, but it was fun. To those that couldn't make it to the presentation...due to the Wii premier or their own sessions, I'm planning to have a Balloon Sculpture 201(or how to be a hero to any child in less than 30 seconds) session at Mind Camp 4.0, so look for me there. Welcome! This is our blog:) Not much is new, we said good bye to a friend who headed off to Japan for school. It was sad, but we are proud of her! Mojo has begun going to a social group in Redmond, he is really enjoying himself.
